Knowledge Management will soon be assigning ORCiD numbers to researchers. An ORCiD number is a unique and persistent identifier created with the intent of being able to give credit where credit is due (name disambiguation).
Along with other research organizations, universities, publishers, professional associations, and libraries, IFPRI is a member organization of ORCiD. Membership allows IFPRI to assign ORCiD numbers to staff, connecting them through the association to IFPRI, as well as access the APIs for integration of data across platforms.
